Crossrail Programme Management Award at British Construction Awards
Crossrail won the Programme Management prize at the British Construction Industry Awards, beating Heathrow T2 amongst others. The judges said Crossrail was “genuinely world-class in terms of scale and complexity”. Andrew Wolstenholme said: “What stood out to the judges was our integrated team approach, the way we’ve managed the project and our unique innovation programme”. The focus on the four Crossrail objectives impressed them too, especially being on time and on budget at the half way stage of the project. “We faced stiff competition but were the unanimous winners. A thank you and a well done should go to all those involved right across the project”.
